With more than 20 years of related experience in probate, estate planning education, mediation, and succession documentation, Marie brings a strong background in helping people understand and prepare for important transitions.
Marie Wolfe has dedicated much of her professional work over the past two decades to probate matters, estate planning education, mediation, and administrative assistance with estate and succession documentation.
Through her work, she has assisted individuals and families in understanding probate procedures, organizing estate planning documents, and navigating important administrative processes during major life transitions. Her background also includes helping small business owners with operating agreements that include survivorship and business succession concepts, helping support continuity when ownership transitions occur.
Marie is a certified mediator, an affiliate member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the American Bar Association, attended George Mason University, and has received an Honorary Doctorate recognizing her professional and community contributions.

The Orphans' Court is a specialized probate court that oversees the administration of estates after someone passes away, whether a person dies testate, with a will, or intestate, without a will.
Marie Wolfe understands that many matters before the Court involve families navigating grief while also dealing with complex administrative processes. She believes those matters should be handled with integrity, professionalism, careful attention, and compassion.
If elected, Marie hopes to contribute to the careful administration of estate matters and support a probate process consistent with the duties of the Orphans' Court while treating every person who appears before the Court with dignity, compassion, and respect.
Many of the matters before the Orphans' Court involve families appearing before the court during difficult moments, and those matters should be handled with professionalism, respect, careful attention, and dignity.
